Exams & Grading

There will be two closed-book exams on Thursdays in the 3rd and the 6th week. No notes, calculators, or other electronic devices will be allowed, and having such a device in view during the exam is an academic honesty violation. A previous year’s exam (with solution) can be found in Blackboard course page.

Dates and locations

• Midterm: Thursday, June 6th, 9:00 am- 11:15 am

• Final: Tuesday, June 27th, 9:00 am- 12:00 noon

We will use Gradescope to upload and grade, and Zoom to proctor (https://rochester.zoom.us/j/5824101757 same zoom link as lecture). No makeup exam unless you have un unavoidable reason, in which case feel free to contact me and schedule.

Grading

The course grades will be calculated based on the following percentages (so no live attendance to lecture will effect):

The final exam will be cumulative and will test material from the entire semester, but mainly about the second half of the content.
