LaTeX

This page contains some information about getting started using LaTeX. You can use it on your homework, and those enrolled in 240W will be required to use LaTeX when submitting their work. You can read the Wikipedia page about LaTeX here.

If you have not used LaTeX before, I recommend using Overleaf this semester, but if you want to install LaTeX locally on your computer, you can take a look at MiKTeX on Windows or TeXshop on Mac.

If you want to use a template for your homework assignments or papers, some Googling can help you out. Overleaf has a collection of them here, and the website https://www.latextemplates.com contains more. Professor Krstic’s grad school homework template can be found here, and you are welcome to use it!
