Exams & Grading
The dates for the exams are the following:
- Thursday, May 30th - MIDTERM 1 (sections 11.1 through 11.4)
- Thursday, June 13th - MIDTERM 2 (sections 11.5 through 11.9)
- Thursday, June 27th - FINAL EXAM (all sections)
There will be two time exams for students with different time zones or difficulty to attend the regular lecture time. All exams will be proctored (and hence taken) on Zoom. A Zoom link will be provided through email. Exams will be posted and graded on Gradescope, allowing regrade requests for 2 days each time.
Your final grade will be computed as follows:
- 20% Webwork
- 25% Midterm 1
- 25% Midterm 2
- 30% Final
Final Exam Part A will replace the lowest midterm grade. Make-up exams will not be provided, except from very particular situations.
Extra Credit
Extra credit will be assigned to each midterm/final for participation in Office Hours (any office hours of any instructor). Points will be assigned as follows:
- 0 extra points if does not participate in any office Hours
- \(n\) points if participates in \(n\) office hours, \(n\leq 5\)
- 5 points if participates in more than 5 office hours.
Note that this is extra credit, and is not mandatory, nor will decrease grades in any case.
